American Numismatic Association to Host 2017 World’s Fair of Money

An entrepreneur and award-winning speaker, James Amps helps individuals and companies overcome obstacles to success as the managing partner of Amps International, LLC, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Outside of his professional activities, James Amps pursues an interest in rare coins through a membership in the American Numismatic Association.

In its efforts to educate academics, collectors, and the general public about money, the American Numismatic Association oversees a variety of programs and events throughout the year. The organization is currently preparing to host several upcoming events, including the 2017 World’s Fair of Money, which will take place August 1-5 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

Those attending the five-day event will have the opportunity to take part in learning activities such as lectures and seminars and view historical pieces from the Association’s Money Museum and private collections. Nearly 1,000 dealers are expected to be on hand, so attendees will also have the chance to buy and sell their own pieces.

Members of the American Numismatic Association and children under 12 can attend the 2017 World’s Fair of Money free of charge. Admission is $8 for nonmembers. More information about the fair and other upcoming Association events can be found at www.money.org.
